To better assist us in finding families for waiting children, A Love Beyond Borders will occasionally profile available children in a safe and non-identifying manner on our website and limited, reputable photo listing sites. More commonly foreign countries do not allow agencies to list photos of available children on public websites, and sometimes even not on the agency's website. LBB photolists when we are allowed by the foreign country. There are thousands of children waiting to be adopted, from infants through teens. Our site shows just a few of the children waiting. Typically once a family is paper-ready we will have photos of available children for you to see.

While many reputable agencies -- including A Love Beyond Borders -- use photolistings on the internet to expand a child's opportunity for placement, an agency’s presence on that site (which is paid advertising) does not guarantee its quality or reputation or that the child is even available for adoption. The child you fall in love with will usually be available only to that specific agency which may — or may not — have a good reputation. Sometimes agencies photo list the same child to help that child reach the greatest number of prospective parents. Ethical agencies work together to ensure that a child is not "double referred". Bait and switch, which is in effect consumer fraud, is a sad reality of the way many unethical agencies do business. A Love Beyond Borders does not participate in consumer fraud.
